Works since last neighbourhood update<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Works include:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Section 7A (School and associated site works)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u00b7 Ongoing internal fitout (All Zones Nearing Completion)<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u00b7 External Works Complete.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u00b7 Snagging\/DE snagging both Internally and Externally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u00b7 School Utility Connections including Sewer, Water, ESB and Gas completed. Telephone line connection ongoing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Section 7B (including East Dunningstown)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u00b7 All Surface Course Completed<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u00b7 Line Marking ongoing<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u00b7 Ongoing Topsoiling and Landscaping<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u00b7 Ongoing Boundary Treatment<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u00b7 Traffic Light Installation ongoing<\/p>\n\n\n\n Section 7C (including West Dunningstown)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u00b7 Both lanes opened on Dunninsgtown Road to public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u00b7 Accommodation Works to Private Entrances along Dunningstown Road ongoing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u00b7 Ongoing Topsoiling and Landscaping<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u00b7 Line Marking Complete<\/p>\n\n\n\n Section 7D (including Talbots Gate\/Court and Freshford Road Junction)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u00b7 Freshford Roadworks ongoing. Binder Course Complete. Wearing Corse and Line marking to do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u00b7 Landscaping ongoing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u00b7 Utility Diversions ongoing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n All the necessary Health and Safety systems and traffic management will be put in place to always ensure your safety during these works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n CONSTRUCTION WORK HOURS & PARKING<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Monday to Friday – as per planning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Saturday – as per planning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Provision for parking has been made within our compound (Lands off Dunningstown Road South adjacent to the new school) for our construction workers and for all construction related traffic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n HEALTH, SAFETY & ENVIRONMENT<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n As the Main Contractor the health and safety of our workers and the public is a top priority for JJ Rhatigan\/ABM. It is important that children\/teenagers understand that construction sites are not a safe place to play, and they should not try to enter construction sites at any time and\/or MUST NOT ENTER SITE AT ANY TIME. We would appreciate parents\u2019 assistance in getting this point across to young children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Construction sites are defined as high-risk work areas with those who work on site having specialised training and equipment to undertake their tasks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n JJ Rhatigan & Company is proud to support and cooperate with the Considerate Constructors Scheme to commit to care regarding the appearance of our site, respect the community in which we work, protect the environment by our methods of working and choice of design and materials, secure everyone\u2019s safety and value our workforce. We strive to maintain the highest standards on all our projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n UPCOMING WORKS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Section 7A (School and associated site works)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u00b7 Desnagg School and Prepare to Handover to School<\/p>\n\n\n\n Section 7B and 7C<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u00b7 Handover of Dunningstown Road to KCC (No access to CBS Access Road Remains)<\/p>\n\n\n\n Section 7D (including Talbots Gate\/Court and Freshford Road Junction)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u00b7 Completion of Freshford Road Works and handover of Talbots and Freshford Road to KCC<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u00b7 Handover of Roads to KCC expected to be Mid July 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We apologies in advance for any inconvenience the construction activities may cause and to thank you for your patience and consideration.
