Works since last neighbourhood update
Works include:
Section 7A (School and associated site works)
- Zone B + D Precast Superstructure Ongoing
- Boundary Gabion Basket Construction Ongoing
- External Windows/Doors and Curtain Walling Ongoing
- Internal M+E 1st fix ongoing.
- Outer Leaf Blockwork ongoing
- Roof Finishes ongoing
- Deep Drainage Runs including Sewer, Storm and Rainwater Harvesting ongoing.
- Kerbing and Footpaths Ongoing
Section 7B (including East Dunningstown)
- CBS Access Road Formation Ongoing.
- Kerbing and Footpaths Ongoing
- Traffic Management for Section 1 Dunningstown Road Works (East) ongoing
- Installation of below ground services adjacent to Dunningstown Road (East) ongoing
Section 7C (including West Dunningstown)
- Traffic Management for Section 1 Dunningstown Road Works (West) ongoing
- Installation of below ground services adjacent to Dunningstown Road (West) ongoing
Section 7D (including Talbots Gate/Court and Freshford Road Junction)
Site Entrance for Construction Traffic to CBS School Site
All the necessary Health and Safety systems and traffic management will be put in place to always ensure your safety during these works.
CONSTRUCTION WORK HOURS & PARKING
Monday to Friday – as per planning.
Saturday – as per planning.
Provision for parking has been made within our compound (Lands off Dunningstown Road South adjacent to the new
school) for our construction workers and for all construction related traffic.
HEALTH, SAFETY & ENVIRONMENT
As the Main Contractor the health and safety of our workers and the public is a top priority for JJ Rhatigan/ABM.
It is important that children/teenagers understand that construction sites are not a safe place to play, and they
should not try to enter construction sites at any time and/or MUST NOT ENTER SITE AT ANY TIME. We would
appreciate parents’ assistance in getting this point across to young children.
Construction sites are defined as high-risk work areas with those who work on site having specialised training and
equipment to undertake their tasks.

UPCOMING WORKS IN AUGUST
Section 7B (East Dunningstown) and Section 7C (including West Dunningstown)
Commence Section 2 Traffic Management including altering lane access for public.
Section 7D (including Talbots Gate/Court and Freshford Road Junction)
Commencing Road Works on Section 7D starting within the green area south of section 7D.
Works will entail the construction of the new roadway (commencing in the green area) following with the site investigation/removal of the existing trees along Talbots Gate/Court.

patience and consideration. Please be advised that it is our policy to ensure that all efforts be made to ensure minimal disruption to the neighbourhood for the duration of the construction period.
